In 2013 Mary O'Donovan & her family, very kindly presented Courceys AC , with a new trophy. This shield is in memory of Mary's husband John O'Donovan, who dedicated his time for many years to training young athletes within the club. John was a fantastic promoter of field events and achieved great results over the years at many events. Athletes went on to win All - Ireland medals under his guidance.
